Bank preference order in IBPS PO III:
For the first time, IBPS is asking the candidates to fill the bank preference order in IBPS PO III. Earlier the candidates used to give their bank preference order only after the declaration of the written and interview result. This is an important decision that should be made with great care and responsibility as this will have effect on the entire life. In this article we will give you some facts that will help yo to fill your bank preference order in IBPS PO III.
Number of Branches of a bank:
This should be the first factor that you need to concentrate on. A bigger bank has more number of branches and vice-versa. A bank with more number of branches will have more number of employees. And more number of employees and branches means there will be more number of vacancies. Keeping an eye on that, you can go for the banks that have more branches while filling your preference. As far as number of branches are concerned, this should be your order of preference:

After getting selected as a PO, you will become a Scale I officer. But after a few years you will look for promotion to scale II and scale III officer posts.
